What's the general opinion on the residual values of the new 03 WRX and STi's? Do you think they will hold their prices resonably well for the forseeable future?

It depends whether we get the twin scroll turbo over here next year I guess, then how much publicity is given in advance of the new model.

You pays your money and takes your chances.....

I have heard of a 3month waiting list for new STi's already, which can only help the residuals of these.

dont think waiting lists have happened to WRX yet tho'.

There will be an STI9 next year which will be the latest toy and will affect STi8 prices. This hasnt changed except euro impors and grey imports have forced the rethinking of UK pricing. Cars are getting cheaper relativelty speaking and personally I think until UK prices are the same as euro prices there will be issues with residuals.

Just ask the biking community what Euro imports has done for the price of new bikes in the UK. Its has taken longer with cars but there are some striking similarities
