Cool

Hi All,
Im new here, ive just sold my Calibra and hopefully will be shortly buying a 1996-1998 2.0 sport. I was wondering if any of the following questions can be answered.

From the outside what do i need to make it look like a turbo? (bonnet, wheels, spoiler? how much ish will it cost)
Which exhaust sounds best on the sport?
(i want a really nice deep growl, can be loudish)
Im going to get it chipped providing its worth it?
(can u feel the diffence ive been told i can probs get 145bhp with chip exhaust filter)
Which mods work well?
(strut braces, lowering etc?
How can i make sure its a good one i buy and not an import?
Are they as quick, good handling as everyone says inc sport.

Thanks alot Tony. (Converted scooby)

Hello,i'm new to the scooby world too I can answer one of your Questions as i've only owned mine for 2 days. Handling is alot better than i thought! A few things you have asked i'd like to know the answers too.

I also went from a vauxhall to scoobies (But i've kept my GTE)
Good luck with your buy

Hi Folks.......try using the search facility and type in Impreza sport or variations of, the search will bring up previous threads regarding sports and may help with the info you are looking for.

Pobably the most impresive mod would be a turbo bonnet (with scoop)

Do a search for breakers and im sure you'll get enough posts with different breakers who could supply some bits and bobs from a turbo.

Right well I can answer some of your questions.
Exhaust wise get a full decat, and if you want something with some grunt get an Afterburner.
Also stick an induction kit on, best option is a K&N
Then get some Eibachs and some solid drop links, that should sort out the handling.
Upgrade te brakes to four pots as the standard Sport brakes are cr4p.
Most of this stuff you will be able to get off the for sale board.
Stick some turbo interior in get a turbo bonnet and an STI spoiler and some big wheels and job done, or just buy my Sport that I have for sale as all this is done to it already....go on you know you want to ;-)
