hi guys from hot S.A. seeing as most of you have been driving Scooby's forever, here is a question. in South Africa we have really crap fuel, therefore we have to run octane boosters or racing fuel to get our cars to perform right, we also have a numbert of Scooby's running with aftermarket chip conversions. MY00GT has been fitted with a VF35 turbo, Unichip, 3" xhaust and some other exterior accessories. On Our dyno the car makes 223HP on the wheels, and runs past the 260kmh mark on the clock but suffers with 1,2, and 3rd gear performance. She currentley runs on 0,9 and 1,0bAR boost. Any comments. Should I consider changing to a VF23 or stay with what she has.
