STi7 & STi8

Cosmetic mostly
STI 8 Smaller steering wheel
STI 7 Better seats IMHO
STI 8 Slightly revised suspension
STI 8 Larger intercooler and revised 'low revs' friendly map
IMHO not a lot, unless you are talking about the Japanese STI 8, which has a LOT More goodies on.

Offer them 1k less for the STi7. That way you can get a decent stereo put in, still be 3k in pocket and driving something that doesn't resemble a honda civic on a pure lard diet. You know you want to.

I'm currently considering both of these as options....
Beechdale have a nice black STI7 which looks great (even if it is a bug eye ) It is an ex-demo with 5500 miles on. But for another £3K I could have a brand spanking STI8 But I might have to wait months to get one in a colour other than WR blue apparently...
So what shall I do? Is the 8 worth the wait? (my old car will probably have depreciated another £1K by the time it turns up! )
