Yeah, I know that most of you have already been there and done that, but I had to tell someone.
I bought an Impreza Type RA today and to say I'm happy would be an understatement.
Its a 94, and drives like a dream, had it all checked out and everything is in good shape.
It has a full HKS system and a few other sensible tricked up bits.
The only downside is that I won't be able to pick it up until the weekend after next due to a clash of commitments, but its nice to have something to look forward to
Cheers

Hi Mark
I see that you like to get about a bit too
Cheers
Richard
PS. The Cossie I bought last month has cost me £500 in engine work so far co the last basket owner had f*cked the engine but managed to bodge it. Got me all the way home from Plymouth fortunately, before the head gasket went the next day and upon stripping down the head, its clearly had a cam belt go in the past - strange thing is it ran really well?!?.
Also spent about £600 for uprated brakes and suspension but that was to be expected

I know how you feel, it's a great feeling owning a superb class motor.. Everytime I see my car, it brings a smile to my face ..
Enjoy, the wait is worth it, believe me I know as i had to wait for months before I could drive my car legally on the road, as I imported mine form Japan...

Congratulations and welcome! Take it easy and learn how to handle the Scooby before you put her and yourself to any tests on the road. Don't know if you are familiar with AWD and turbo from previous ownership, but it's different, I can tell you. Enjoy!

Awww thanks guys. I'm getting that fuzzy warm feeling now
I've only heard the car fire up and driven it once, but I'm still grinning thinking about it.
Can't wait until I pick it up and really have some fun.
I've had experience of powerful cars, but only fwd and rwd, not awd, so I will be careful while I find the new learning curve.
Cheers again guys and the forums have been really helpful even tho I've only been a lurker for the last year or so.

Hey up fella, welcome to the fold.
Enjoy the experience... 'cause no doubt it will be a very fast and expensive one!!!
Had my 2nd scoob for 10 months now and still can't get rid of the smile on my boat-race!!!
Mine came fitted with one of these...
