Ok, fancied a scoob for a while and should be able to get one March time. Budget is up to £16.5k

Shortlist so far:
1.) 99 RB5 - Is the WR worth the extra cash? What does it include?
2.) Standard 03 WRX
3.) Bugeye WRX and fit PPP

What do you think? This will be my first Scoob (last fast car was a Chimaera) amd will spend 90% of it's time in London traffic.

All opionions greatly appreciated..

 

Just means it's fitted with the ppp.

 

Personaly with that kind of money I would go for
Sti V5 perhaps an RA limited. I feel personaly is definately the best enthusiats scoob. Keep some money back for mods,repairs and tyres though.

I prefer the look of the old shape. So out of your choice I would go for the RB5 and modify it. But keep all the bits you take off, as non modified limited edition (RB5 etc) Scoobs will be worth alot one day. E.G. Non modified Cosworths are worth alot now...just try finding one!!!

Am I right in thinking that a MY99/00 + 17" wheels + PPP + WR spoiler is effectively identical to the RB5 WR?
