I don't think it's just the Wives, it happens to us all.

I'd never kerbed my '98 in over two years, until I put in an order for a new car, and I've never had a puncture on a bald tyre.

It's like those great eternal questions in life, like How do snowplough drivers get to work, and Why does pubic hair stop growing?

what with this reocurring prob and my misses dragging the shopping over the rear quater once, I have now managed to convince her the 300quid drop in insurance to take her off is really well worth cos you dont really drive it that often anyway ("cough" and not damage something)... do you.

"SLAP"......

I think some women just dont think that you should look after cars like you love um... "its just a car" she belows. yeah and its only hair but you still spend a sodding fortune for it to grow again in a few weeks

"SLAP's ME AGAIN"

dazza,

right then where's that spare quilt...

My big bruv watched me into a mega tight parking space...once, never again

Having worked in garages I'm used to folk giving guidance, mainly cos they're good at it, not our kid! Fair do's, he made sure I didn't back into his car but as my wheel scuffed along the kerb, stone digging into my alloy, paint falling onto the footpath, he goes "erm, woah, you're a bit near the kerb"

Since fitting my gold 17s I think my wife has driven the scooby once and that was along country lanes (ie. no kerbs)

I feel for you dude!

Jay, it's her way of saying she'd like you to upgrade to 18". You should be thanking her!

Cool

Non-scoob BUT

Had a Corrado G60 & wifey badly curbed BOTH o/s BBS multi-spokes on a particular curb in Bethnal Green

Because they were irrepairable I replaced all 4 alloys with BBS 5 spokes before selling...

Day b4 px of Corrado for PTMW! she did O/S/R (1 inch gouge )

WTF?

Am I having a deja vue ??

I have a Mica Green Scooby with 'Anthracite' alloys which I cherish like a baby.

Mrs only goes and shreds a quarter of the alloy on the curb before she realises something's not quite right here !!

I come home from work ... she drops the bomb on me ... then bursts into tears. (that ole chestnut !!)

All I can say is your not alone ... (still grieving)
