Pressure Washers

Good for washing the car with - I use mine all the time.
Best investment I made was an extension hose for it - was about £30, but it means that I don't have to move it which is good as I got a bloody heavy one ([http://www.express-cleaning-supplies.co.uk/shopbask/it120005.htm]Karcher 620M[/url]).
Wouldn't worry too much about removing wax - you're more likely to scratch it using a sponge over dirt......You should use a pressure washer to rinse the dirt off the car before washing it.

Anyone own a pressure washer? Thinking of getting one for xmas, budget 100 - 150 quid. Was looking at this range.
Feedback from owners / users much appreciated.

used mine about 3 times had it for about 2 years now .
though if you are going through muddy fields great , but for everyday stuff forget it
Although the last time i used it was to wash the underside to remove salt from the last winter

Got one of these myself. They are good, but when it needs dragging out of the corner and plugging in and dragging down the drive i usually can't be bothered. The hose is always attached to the tap anyway, so that usually gets first pick.
For cleaning paths and driveways however, it can't be beaten.

I use mine all the time
cleans the wheels for you and gets all the dirt off
with very little effort, only take about 30secs to set up and off
you go.
Think it was about 100 from bq its a karcher.

my personal opinion is that they aslo take the wax off the paint work , ok to use every now and then on the paint but i wouldnt use it too often ,
but im very fussy with my cars ,,,,,, I use DIAMONDBRITE 2 stage paint protector , so i dont use the power wash too often
but they can get into some awkward places easliy
oh mine is B&Q own brand ,,,,,, very good and half the price

Depends if you get mega-sh*t on the car. Very useful for mud in the wheel arches. I live in a high water-hardness area, and I get less smearing from standing well off with the Karcher to rinse the car down: but NB the stand well off!! Soft water, ordinary/urban roads - probably less advantage.
