Question

I read a few months ago that the rozzers have finally caught on to the low resale value of white cars and were changing patrol cars to silver.

Has anyone spotted one of the new silver cop cars on the road yet?

Always helps to know what your supposed to be avoiding

Question

Mercedes ML?

How do they justify that kind of expense?

Yeah...they worked out the residual values on white motors where always on the low side (wonder why..?)

Hence the change over to silver.

Now watch Silver coloured car values plummet.

Priceless.................my car's silver

Saw 2 or 3 silver 406's the other day in Canterbury within seconds of each other. Good idea until all silver saloons are seen as cop cars the way white ones are now.

Were out having a blast in a fellow SN'etters Silver Evo 6. Creamed a long straight then looked back to see a silver dot in the distance behind us. Driver said it might be a rozzer - we disagreed as it was silver. Anyway we slowed down and yep it was a Silver Volvo Cop car. We then kept to the speed limits and were a tad worried before he turned off after following us for 10 mins.

BTW this was about 6 months ago.

Simon.
