HI, just want some feedback on fuel economy differences once PPP has been fitted, currently struggle to get more than 20mpg, if lucky, from un-PPP car, are the changes more juicy ( more BHP) or more effiecent?. insurance will probably cost extra £240 a year, just weighing up pros & cons!
thanx ROB................

I average about 19 WITHOUT PPP. LAst tank was only 17.5

If the PPP improves economy, at least this would be more justification for spending £2k

Forgot to add, the 23Mpg figure was mostly motorway with some 40-50Mph A road traffic. The car did 92.6miles to just over a quarter of a tank. It did'nt drop sharply until I let my dealer have a go in it.

hi mark, have to agree with your figures, as much as i try to drive at 50-60mph (which seems painful) still end up with sub 20mph. once got about 23mph, but whole tank was at 60mph!!!!!!
cheers ROB..........

I regularly get 270 miles off a full tank of optimax going to/from work on 30/50mph roads.
When doing long trips on the motorway i always seem to get 320+ miles off a tank even at a constant 80mph!!

I think economy is very dependent on length of journey, my forester drinks like a fish when it's cold, but give it 10 miles of urban driving and the clutch judder goes and it burns a lot less fuel.
