If so,

Due to the Post Bedford Disccusion Thread, it occured to me that it's a little inconsistent whether or not your car would pass their noise tests. I presume in reality this is not the case and if people could post up their car details, it might help us work out what would pass and what would fail?

So how about, what car (model year, type (e.g. WRX/STi etc.), mods (be honest ), if you know any of the tested noise results (static/1st drive by/2nd drive by etc.) and if you've been to Bedford before and the car details then also. Obviously, also whether or not you passed or failed (or passed and then failed ).

To kick it off:

1. Me. MY00UK PPP BB - March - Passed
2. Puff. MY98-99UK Full PPP - Saturday & Last November - Passed
3. Standard Westfield XTR2 - Failed (Static), Failed, Passed, Failed
4. STi 5 RA, running 1.2bar Boost/HKS Headers/SSDP/Magnex mid(non res)/SS BB (340ish bhp) - Last August - Passed

Westie failed static test cos it was revved to 8k.....and was again .5db over

Failed 1st drive by, passed by "3-4db" when driven by Palmer instructor, failed next lap

Westie XTR2, std, exhaust, cat, induction.
STI V, hybrid, front mount, BPM downpipe and HKS Hiper, passed static, failed 1st drive by, passed 2nd drive by with HKS bung.

STi V STD spec but with Scoobysport exhaust system (std up-pipes).

Passed before @ Bedford, and curiously on the static and drive by that day. Black flagged later and sent home. Still grumbling and waiting to see if I get recompensed - its been 6 days after all..

Passed static at 99.9db (A) Passed drive by test.

01MY WRX, PPP. Full Scoobysport de-cat, including up pipe, scoobysport centre section, and Prodrive Rear Box. ITG Panel filter.

Passed last year, no problem.

i was there 98 wagon running magnex de cat down pipe and centre section and scooby sport back box passed only just according to don palmer

I was there in my P1 - APS induction kit, TSL down pipe and centre section and Firestorm back box - failed twice with that fitted. Then fitted TSL Group N back box and failed again. Loudest recorded drive by was 87.5 db.

This time passed static @ 99db, failed driveby , don't know level, unless "goodbye" is a full technical explanation?

P1: 2.5 " ScoobySport DP, CS & BB (not loud version). HKS panel filter.

failed static, first drive by (85.9dB) failed, second drive by passed (not sure what reading was) but after three laps was black flagged because it was too loud (85.5dB)

MY99 with PPP
MY01 with Prodrive BB
MY01 with SS D/P & C/S, Prodrive BB
Elise 111s with B&C Sports Exhaust.

Never had a problem.
