All Impreza drivers are Boy Racers …..

They were physically turning people away, if they looked the wrong sort ... the Corsa two cars in front of me was asked to leave!
It's private land, so they can do whatever they want I suppose!

BB,
I popped into McD's in Castle Marina a few weeks back on a Sat late afternoon with wife and kids in our Impreza and parked in the front car park.
Within 20 mins of getting there the car park was completely filled and the Scoob seemed to be getting a lot of attention from the local boys. Ended up moving it to the rear carpark so I could keep an eye on it.
Cant beleive McD's havent complained b4

All that have met me will find this amusing.
On the way back from the In Laws yesterday, we decided to stop off at McD’s (Castle Marina, Nottingham). As we came to the roundabout, we noticed several Police cars and vans and thought there might have been an incident. On tuning into McD’s, we were stopped by Police and told “Sorry you can’t come in, we have a problem with Boy Racers around here!” “I’m sorry Officer but I’ve just come to get McD’s for the kids (who were in the back of the car) – do you really think I’m a boy racer?” – Youngest (6 years old) winds down his window and says hello to the Officer “Oh, hello” he says “and err, what are you having from McD’s then young man?” “Cheeseburger” he replies. Turning back to me the Officer says “I’m terribly sorry about this sir, of course you can go in, I don’t think you will be wheel spinning you way out of here, will you? By the way, very nice car sir!” “Thank you” I replied laughing!
Now just because I drive an Impreza WRX with none standard lights, spoiler and back box, why should this automatically single me out as a Boy Racer? I’m a married man with two kids and 30 something years old for Christ sake!
Oh, and on the way out of McD’s, there must have been at least a dozen Officers, all of whom gave me the evil eye as I drove past! Just for all those who might actually be the aforementioned “Boy Racers”, watch out down at Castle Marina McD’s, they’re on to you!

i am actually very suprised that a lad my age has not been stopped yet!
have been followed late at night by a couple of police cars that have joined me at a roundabout - they have seen me and my youthful good looks (lol!) and have elected not to stop me, much to my suprise, maybe the reputation is not as bad as we think?
now i will be eating my words of course by the end of the week! grrrrrr!

When the copper asked what you kid wanted from McD's you should have asked him if he would get you a couple a big macs and fries when he was up getting the cheeseburger for you.
Perhaps they all got McHarrassment badges...or were they looking for McBurgerler..
