I've just got my other half to agree to pay for my Scoobs windows to be blacked out as my Christmas present.

Can anyone recomend someone in the E Yorks/N Lincs area?
How much is it likely to cost?
And does anyone know what the restrictions are?

I've never seen it done on a green Scoob - anyone got any pictures!

I've got a Green 5dr with the windows tinted, but unfortunately the only pictures I've got since having it done are still waiting to be developed.

As soon as I've got some (hopefully tomorrow) I'll post them up for you (if still required).

Don't think I'll try the matches idea as I live in a smoke free zone.

Rich - Yes I've managed to hang onto my car but have forsaken my conseratory to do so. (I bet there are not many women out there that would do that!)

Ferne, sorry for the delay but our house sprung a major leak on Saturday and I was unable to get the pictures developed.

I'll try and get them in within the next couple of days for a 1 hour process and then I'll post them.

I did one of the boot side windows in silver on my silver forester on saturday, it wasn't too hard to do. I'd be scared of doing the boot window though as you have to use multiple strips of film to do complex curves.

Hey Ferne,

Your limited to the tint on the side of the front windows (25% i seem to remember - but the installer will know whats the legal limit) but then you can go for v.dark on the rear and back windows and look like a pimp

Get it fitted by an expert - £230 from my dealer and if it goes wrong THEY fix it for FREE

I was told the legal limit is 35% on the front, and then whatever you like for the remainder of the car. I've actually gone for 32 at the front and 22 everywhere else.
