The thread about parking in disabled bays in supermarkets the other day. I never do it, but now I have my first ever BRAND NEW car I sat in Asda car park for over 5 mins tonight with about 15 empty disabled bays in front of me. In the end I decided there was plenty of room and people will take care, and left it where it was.
Lo and behold I come out and there is a lovely little dink in the rear door where some TW@T with half a ****1NG brain has opened their door on me.
I know the car is gonna get chipped and scratched eventually but why cant people be more careful and have more respect for peoples property especially when it so valuable (and i dont just mean financially)

If we remind you to not take advice, you'd have to not take our advice leaving you in the same situation as you are now, I think one dent is bad enough so, if it's alright by you, I'm not gonna advise you to not take advice.....probably
sorry to hear your bad news dude

BTW before anyone takes my comment to heart I'm just sounding off cos I'm stressed. The vast majority of advice on this board is sound.

Like the other thread referred to above, this is going to go nowhere.

My reply may have been taken the wrong way...
Being a badge holder I am entitled to use these bays and have a sodding dent where someone has opened there flaming door onto my car know very well that the main problem is that dissabled people need to open their door to the widest possible point, this means they are happy to open till it actually hits your car, if anyones to blame then it's the companys that decide to put bays in the same amount of space as they would a normal car space. It may be closer to where you wanna go but you you need to remember is poeple who use these bays also use buggies, wheelchairs, crutches and walking sticks.
This is something to remeber next time.
