So Guys
What is the advantages of the ITG Filter on the P1 over the standard Panel Filter?
Is it worth changing it?
Also how do P1,s perform if you use millers octane boost on the, does it give any noticable change in performance.

Had an ITG on my P1 and noticed no difference at all. Also Subaru may well not cough up if your MAF fails with one of these fitted. I was advised to use the stock filter and replace each service (7,500) to ensure maximum performance.
Are you using SUL ? Hopefully you are. Adding Millers will reduce your chances of seeing any det, and may also encourage your ECU to release a bit more power. Didn't notice a great deal of change when I started using it, but the "comfort" factor is well worth it.

Thanx Russell
I think i will stick with the Standard Panel filter, but think i will try some of the Millers in with it, I am of course using Shell Optimax SUL.

GSM,
Agree with what has been posted RE new panel filters..... there have been a number of cases of the MAF sensor going with some aftermarket filters (I know of 2 P1's) & to be honest it wont make any difference - other than in the head
Apparently NAM are selling some octane booster that is meant to be VERY good - ask dingy !
Cheers - hope the car is going well,
