Cool

Anybody ever had a problem like I did yesterday, I washed and polished my beloveed scoob, and went to put it in my garage and as I drove out to my garage tried to stop at the end of my close where I live and she would not stop.
I then pulled up the handbrake and I came to a very quick halt.
The crazy thing is it has just been serviced and I have driven it today with no problems at all, It was just a bit scarey any ideas guys.
Thanks in advance
Colin

Wink

Try removing right foot from right hand pedal and use it to depress the middle pedal.

You've not got wax on the discs have you?

Only other thing that springs to mind is possibly a faulty master cylinder. It might be as well to get it checked.

I've had that happen before. Scarry ain't it .

Think its just because both the pads and disks are wet and cold, so don't bite. Try left foot braking for a few yards to warm the brakes up. Works a treat for me.

I have had this after a vigeroous jet wash (the car, not me)
wet cold disk and pads do not work too well
I usually pull away slowly with my foot gently on the brake pedal for a few yds to dry them off and warm the up a bit
