The other car
#1
Hi Everybody!
Just had to tell you this. Some of you who I've met know that my other car was an white micra Automatic. I was joking about getting a blue rinse to look the part.
Recently the micra had to go and I replaced it with a brand new matiz. Laugh you may, but phear my awesome mpg figures!!!
At this point the Scooby was a bit over budget on miles so its been in the garage for a couple of weeks.
But today I couldn't wait any longer and had to go out for a spin. It was a classic case of going for a bottle of milk and taking the scenic route.
How I laughed, I nearly crashed the damn thing. Tears of laughter were streaming down my face as I rediscovered acceleration, pointy steering and the shortest throw gearstick in the world. My face still hurts and the grin will be stuck in place for ages.
You all should try this. Go find the lowest power car you can. Drive it for a couple of weeks and then rediscover the Scoob!!!!!!!

I drive an LDV Convoy everyday. It's on its weight limit so its got no brakes, no acceleration ,no steering and no handling at all. so I get that feeling everytime I get in the scoob.

Too right Dr Nick,
Out of necessity I had to get another motor, and am now the proud owner of an F reg 1.1 Fiesta
Oh the joys of motoring, cos I'm now driving the same distances but spend more time doing so Power, what power
At least with that the scenery isn't blurred when I look out of the window
