Four wheel drift questions

I have had lots of driving experience in my scooby and have driven lots of performance cars and have done lots of courses - Don Palmer etc...
I am 36 and want to learn more. I have experienced minor 4 wheel drift in my scoob and would like to understand more about the physics behind what causes it and ways to encourage it and control it.
Would be very interested in tips/disscusion on this subject from more experienced drivers in this area.
