Is this a General Subaru forum?!

Ian, Should we have a Complain About Posting in the Wrong Forum forum?
People have an absolute right to post crap, and frequently do, and to discuss any topic they desire.
I thought that was the reason for the Muppet and Non Scooby Forums.
Mr Moderator Please

I'll tell you what is really spooky:
your name is Ian Watson (9 letters)
A guy sits next to me in work called Sam Watson (also 9 letters)
His surname is Watson (so is yours)
You are not brothers despite having the same surname (Watson).
Brothers can be twins: Twin towers???!!!
Both of your mums are teachers (My sister had a teacher called Mrs Watson; Mrs Watson = 9 letters)
You both had cats called 'George' (George. W Bush?)
Sam says my car is faster than yours;
Mine is an Sti Ver4 yours is UK spec (STi Ver4 UK = 9 letters).
Now tell me that's not weird?
Neil.

Agreed,
From my POV i would have thought that non Subaru related stuff should go in the 'Non Scooby Related' or 'Muppet' forums where they belong.
But what do i know - i moderate the Midlands section

Then perhaps it is not the appropriate place for the same tedious ill-informed posts about the devastating loss of life in America.
How many times to people need to post the same rubbish? Bogus flight numbers in Wingdings, falsified Nostrodamus quotes, and psuedo-scientific numerology trash.
Am in in the minority here, when I feel that these type of posts are ghoulish, irritating, tediously repetitive and show a macabre interest that is entirely out of place on this board.
My suggestion is that people stop posting this cr@p here - if people still feel a need to discuss this nonesense, then perhaps alt.paranormal.rubbish is more appropriate.

LOL
Sammo told me his boss had a dodgy import (he was too tactful to tell you it didn;t feel as quick as mine )
You didn't mention we both have sisters called Lucy... Those coincidences are really spooky!
Not feeling quite as grumpy as I was when I started the thread this morning

Another tricky one. IMHO the moderating has sliped again and we are getting more and more posts that are out of place. This is not a pop at Simon and the gang, I know your busy with the new version. But as I have said before, there is no point in having forums and not using them correctly.
As for American disaster threads, we need to express our thoughts, and I think that should be done in non-scooby.

I haven't been online much recently but am back now you'll all be pleased to hear!
I have noticed, on the few occasions I have visited, the number of irrelevant threads (as far as Scoobs are concerned) in General.
Due to the nature of the events a couple of weeks ago it was always going to create a great topic for debate. I presumed that it would simply die away after a while, but as this is the first topic I've read today I haven't seen the rest of the forum yet!
Now that I'm back though be assured it won't be tolerated any more.
Where's the other mod anyway?
Stef.

Well I suppose that sensitive shrinking violet Mr Lewis, would have been reduced to tears if in addition to all the trauma of events in NY his thread had been moved.
Such a key event possibly warranted a relaxed view, but a lot of peripheral stuff has appeared.
Por Moray, applies a strict code; gets criticised. Allows a little flexibility; gets criticised.
Its a tough job but.....

Dont try and offload some of these threads into non-scooby . We are quite happy discussing C/S, UT, PCs, and bosses amongst oursleves without this sort of unrelated clutter
