Sorry if I spark off the 'afraid of XXX' problems again, couldn't resist. I have just been to look at the recently added Discounts section - it is still empty!

Surely someone out there will give us a discount - even if it is just for the advertising value?

What are the things people want on the 'discount list' the most? Seem to see a lot of interest for clear indicators, driving lights, insurance, gearbox locks, possum links, rolling road tune, tyres, brakes, speakers, dump valves and so on; would it be worth putting together a top 10 (or 20?) list of the things people would be most interested in and pushing this around the vendors to drum up enthusiasm?

i tried to post a subject on there about a week ago(still hasnt turned up yet)

ive got a mate who does performance hoses eg goodridge ect i spoke to him about discounts for bbs members and he has said he would give out a discount.he spoke about 15% off list may be a bit more depending on size of order.

i emailed webmaster about why it hasnt been posted

havent recieved an email back yet

i put it down to the discount section is not up and running yet.

back to the hoses

this company has done work for seven valley motor sport

they did all the hoses for there 500 bhp cossey
and that yellow ka seen on max power stand.

No, the BBS isn't anything to do with SIDC although I think most people associate it closely.

Meawhile, back on topic... Racelogic gave me a 10% discount on some Blitz bit because I was a SIDC Member. They actually asked me if I was a member and offered the discount when I confirmed I was, what nice guys!

Racelogic refused to give me any discount on a Blitz Cone when i said i was an SIDC Member even though Falklands would have done on the same part (had they had it in stock!). They also lied about Falkland receiving supplies of the right part on the next delivery..

 

But SP, they know you're an accountant & therefore have loadsa money
