(by a fluke of cosmic coincidence, this post happens to be my 666th!!)

 

I received my cd like over 6weeks ago!!

 

Well I didn't - I thought Si was still trying to find some time to finish it...????

I think Christian is winding everyone up.

Nimbus, fair comment. As I was saying to Ian Cook yesterday, the catalogue of let downs continues with every new stage of the project.

Think of it this way.. I'll NEVER do another one, so when it does come out it'll be an instant collector's item!!!

In addition, we're about 2.5 times over budget and are running at quite a loss already, so you'll know you have value for money!!! LOL

If you can help please let me know...

we mainly need a load of video footage converting to mpegs. Currently on Beta, VHS, Digital-8, all sorts.

That is the main hold up at present, so if anyone has access to that kind of thing and can do us a favour, that would be great.

Hmm yeah we had a looooong discussion about this yesterday !! LOL poor Si talk about being let down ! so near but yet so far !!!

If its running so far over budget why not draw a line under it and send it out as it is? I wouldn't complain, and I'm not realy worried about video anyway.

In some ways that would be a good idea.. but the video is a big part of the value of the CD in my view..

there are only a few articles, the archives (which is the main value) and the videos...

I have all of the content for the main articles sorted completely (have had them for a while), they do need laying out, but most of that has been done already.

I'll have a think about whether there is enough to send out now with the archives and the main articles, and then maybe produce a video cd at a later date?

Would that be a good idea?

If that way Scoobynet is not going to be losing money on them, then that seems fine to me.

I can't even remember if I ordered a copy or not :rolleyse: know I planned to, must have a check

 

I'd rather wait for the finished article. Were you going to include Stef's CK1@the ring stuff? If you're going to chop anything, this should be it as it's available elsewhere (and I've already got it.... )

 

Don't worry about the money side.. that's just gone and done now, and is one of them things.
