Well I put £30 of Optimax in at Chesterfield did 268 to Edinburgh topped up £25 4 1/2 hours later. 78 pence a litre I reckon thats about 30+ MPG, you can guess with the time it took I was not hanging about. PS I do have a Sport

Filled the Scoob to the brim on Tuesday and drove from preston to West Auckland, gently. Dropped to half a tank. Had new clutch fitted then filled her up to the brim again. Drove back home in a more entertaining style and used only about a third. WTF?

Style ? What is that guy pslewis on ? Imprezas are not about style they are about bangs for your buck. If you want style buy a TT or some other Toni and Guy runaround You must be driving a new M3 Mr Lewis to make a statement like that

Edited due to misleading grammar

Been from Leeds to Surrey and back and averaged 30mpg (74 litres, 16.4 gallons and 480 miles) in the P1, mixture of driving (including booting it of course) and also lots of stopping and starting on M25.
To sum up, £57 = 480 miles, £20 = 160 miles

I get about 200-220 on a full tank of optimax (+octane booster) for £29.
Averaging about 25mpg driving relatively normal. Put the foot down and screw the stats I say!!

Mr PSLewis you obviously missed my point about the TT and M3
Toni and Guy are "hairdressing salons" throughout selected parts of the UK: the TT makes a great runaround for these people with massive ego's. The M3 is a car for men who are a little under endowed, exactly the point I was trying to make. My sarcasm and contempory wit are obviously a little beyond your comprehension

The scoob is pretty bad on fuel though lets be honest..!!
The thing that gets me is that our scoobs are 2.0l turbo, and you can get a V8 or even a V12 and they can return 18mpg about the same as my scoob, well around 20...
I know all the stuff about the turbo e.t.c and is can use the equivelant of a NA 3.0l something like that...!
