Hiya!
What a great website! Great humour!
Anyway, after buying a 2.5 Legacy 10 months ago and the missis a sport, I've gone and bought a WRX and can't wait for it to arrive next week! I don't know what they put in my tea but that's 3 Subarus in less than a year!
Err, that makes this a pointless post but just wanted to say hello and all that!
:-)

Yep, trading in my Legacy... I'd spent loads on lowering the suspension (Pro Drive springs etc), big exhaust, P Zeros etc and made it great fun to drive but became fed up with lack of pace, I mean, unable to pass GTI Golf's!... If it had another 30 bhp I'd probably have kept it for a few years.
I test drove the WRX recently and fell in love immediately, though I know I'll be complaining that it's too slow in a month! :-)

Welcome
So, what did you get?
You won't be complaining it's too slow, more a case of it not being fast enough, if you know what I mean. I hope the missus ain't too attached to the sport, cos you're gonna need more cash for upgrades over the coming months, that for sure.

Hi Dan!
It's your b******y fault I got in to Subaru's, that journey to the local pub made me realise what I was missing! Look what you've made me do :-) (If you need to get hold of me- it's mike@recordproduction.com - my website)
Anyway, back on track, the Legacy with the lowered suspension (much better around bends but eats tyres) etc is great to drive on long journeys and around the country roads here in the Cotswolds, but the new WRX I've ordered at the new price had what I thought to be a great combination of power and comfort. I was amazed at how much better the ride is compared with the missis Sport and the handling feels superb. It feels like a bigger car too. On my test drive I accidently overtook six cars in the time the Legacy would have just wound up the speed to pass one, I'm going to have to be a good boy :-)
What I'm worried about is that I do big miles and pray that the WRX is good for 150,000 miles without major problems.
Thanks for the welcome BTW!
:-)
