Scoobynet gone mad.
#1
Just checked my E-mail and I had 112 scoobynet E-mail telling me that people have replied to threads, most of which I have not read and not posted on.
I have checked my profile, and there in no mention of how to stop this.
Any Ideas ??
Olly.

Scoobynet gone mad? I thought it was just me!!!!
Right, you have clicked the email notification by accident
<Doctor looking solemnly at patient with notes in hand>
I am afraid there is nothing more that we can do.
</Doctor looking solemnly at patient with notes in hand>
Does your mail go through Outlook? If it does then apply a rule whereby all mails coming from the Scoobynet notification address is put straight into the "trash can"
<Protection from Muppets mode on>
Whatever you do, do not tell ANYONE which thread you have done this on!!!!
</Protection from Muppets mode on>
Sorry I cannot be of any more help to you.
Cheers,
Michelle.

I'd never turn on the e-mail responses.
not unless I REALLY wanted to spend my time sifting shedloads of garbage. I'd much rather think about important stuff like bonfire night etc

Please don't do that again.
Brewster. There is a problem with scoobynet sending to tiscali accounts. We think tiscali has blocked scoobynet by accident thinking that we are spamming, but we can't get any response from them.
Could you email them and complain that you are not getting emails from scoobynet (esoftsolutions.co.uk), and nobody with a tiscali account is getting them?
All the best
Simon

Depending on your ISP, you could log on to your account via your ISP's "web mail" and delete the mails you don't want directly from your ISP's server.
This may not be much faster than actually downloading the mails to your PC, but it would clean your mail box up a bit and save you from having to wait so long for important mails to download.
I often use this if I know there's an e-mail in my mailbox with a LARGE attachment that I don't really want...
