1. Get flat blade screwdriver.

2. Insert at top of 'orroble orange thingies'

3. Press down, and at the same time sort of pull forward. They should come out without too much fuss.

I just got a pair of pliers and pulled and they came off really easy.

Two options from there - use paint stripper to remove the orange paint as they are black underneath or spray over the top.

Better still, take em out and leave em out, no need to repaint and lots more air intake

Just Do what I did.

Go to a friends house with a narrow drive.......

But you'll have to get the front bumper resprayed and buy a new side light lens............

Thumbs up

Dave,

done this about 4 months ago, the my2000 requires 1 screw to fix the front indicators, take that out, drop the indicator, then push the orrible orange things out from behind. re-spray them...leave em for a few hours to dry, then pop em back in.

you dont risk damage to other paintwork around area etc by having to lever or pull them then!

my dbm is now nicely co-ordinated, but it just leads to the next project...(the horn was a good one!)
