Question

The reason I ask is because the warranty expires at that time anyway (doesn't it?) so what's the point in paying main dealer servicing prices for the 'big one'.

Or will going to a non-franchised specialist affect the residual value of the car?

Mind you, judging by the state of the 2nd hand market at the moment, I reckon it's only worth a round of drinks in any case.

I welcome your thoughts.

Cheers
Kav

If you intend to keep it, extend the warranty and do the service at a main dealer.

If you don't, then don't bother
