I just noticed that the white one has black mirrors. Strange, eh? Maybe it's an RA since it has a roof vent, WRX type front lip, and raised WRX spoiler. Would that be right?

Is it just me or are the front wings different?

The white car has the square flared wings, the bottom car seems to have a rolled type flare.

Or it could be the late night and the wine.

Nah mate, the wine has not deceived you IMO the top one is a type RA and the botton is an STi. They look pretty good, i'm swaying towards the one at the bottom, it is good to see some photos of the car outside of the photo shoots. Any ideas on who is driving that??

I think there are a number of optical ollusions workin there to deceive u.
The angle of the cars are different so the scoop looks different and also the car being white makes the scoop blend in the with the bonnet so you can't see the join like on the blue one. Quite simply, i think that they are the same size.

I think the bottom pic looks great.

First pic I've seen the car 'driven properly'

Not too sure about that huge scoop! It reminds me a bit of those '70s American muscle cars. Why don't Subaru do it properly and fit a front mounted intercooler?

The top mount intercooler is what makes a subaru a subaru, it complements the boxer engine. Modifying the car to have a front mount is cool if you want to, but it just increases the lag etc. Also the scope is also what makes the car, it is a trademark of the impreza and the legacy. It would be wrong of them to ged rid of it, but i must admit the scope is a bit on the large side, but u'll get used to it.

That isn't "just" what it does ya know. Suggest wandering through the drivetrain section and looking at the DIY FMIC and Non-DIY FMIC threads.

Oh, and I'll take the blue one please

Hmm, nice piccies but it doesn't look as good 'in the flesh' as the tarty release picices. The headlights are just too big IMHO.

The blue one isnt lower, its just driving through the Karousel, a very high G corner. Look at the inside, it's sitting higher.

The writing on the door is the usual STi badging.
