Standard Stereo
#1
Hello,
I have bought a cd changer ( front loader ) and in the middle of removing the standard Philips Radio/Cass in an MY00.
At the back there are three leads coming from the stereo, the ISO connector and then two others but not sure what each of these is for.
The one next to the ISO which looks to be on an angle has come out easy enough but the third one in the bottom left hand corner ( AS you look at it from the back ) is still there.
Can someone advise if this does come out or is it part of the stereo and should be unplugged behind the dash. I am assuming it should come out as it dissapears wwll in to the car dash but before tugging on it I wanted to make sure.
Any advise would be appreciated,
Chris

Chris,
There's an aerial connection, two iso connectors, and I believe an earth. If you've got a CD changer for your factory fit, there'll be one more...
Everything should unplug from the back of the unit?
Nick.

Nick,
Thanks for the advice, I presumed this was the case as Ive never heard of a stereo resembling a clock radio from Argos!! Just wanted to make sure though.
Thanks again,
Chris
