Matt: it really does exist, honest! It used to be sold in Japan, and there's a picture of it in the book 'You & your Subaru Impreza Turbo'.
For some reason that I can't quite work out, people seemed more interested in importing STIs than Casablancas...

Motorpoint have some 1500cc Impreza's in but with standard "classic" front and rear ends.
Interior is dreadful with 1994 type standard GL seating.
They have however got a MY00 type rear spoiler and Alloys.
Price for unregistered, delivery miles examples 7999GBP. They are classic shape so must be old stock from a field or something.

The Subaru Impreza C's is the entry level Impreza model in Japan, those cars on offer must have been snapped up from Japan.
If u look inside, u'll find that it has one thing that no export cars have - climate control.

I was looking through import sites this week and came across a picture of a Micra with Morse style jag front and back on it!! think it was www.caldermotor.co.uk It looked hideous!

Ha, found it, it is caldermotor.co.uk and it's listed in the due in section under Nissan - Mitsuoka Jaguar Mk2 I dont know how to attach pictures but it is well worth a look at,

I reckon they shouldv'e fitted them steering wheels
in the my97 wi the bk/sv interior.
but they are ugly wee things otherwise,
