Why of Why - Muppets

(Putting on Flamproof suit)...Why is it when someone advertises their immaculate WRX (or whatever) in the For Sale section, do people have to post replies stating that if the seller decide to 'break' the car then he would would like to buy the 'widget flange that holds the o/s rear sprocket' Surely if someone advertises their car for sale, then they want to sell the whole car and not 99.5% of it. Obviously if the seller has aftermarket wheels or other goodies, and states that he may sell sperately, then thats a different matter....End of moan. (enjoy the board otherwise:-)

Being in the trade we find that mods and extras add a fraction to the valve of the car compared to what they cost. It oftern makes financial sence to break the car.
A heavly modded car can be a hard thing to sell, insurance issues etc. It could even devalue the car.
I see your point tho, I like my extras

Always, alway sell your mods seperately if you can.
"Yes sir, totally standard, never raced or rallied, although I could lay my hands on a Scoobysport exhaust, HKS induction kit and a modified exhaust if you wanted, cost you though"
