Thanks for your interest in taking part in Driven! Congratulations, You now have the opportunity to appear ON THE SHOW!
We would be delighted if you could join us on either the 23rd or 24th October and be part of the all-new Driven's studio audience in Ipswich.
You'll get to meet the presenters and see them in action as they introduce our new format.
We will be shooting three episodes over the course of two days and will need audience members for the following slots-
Wednesday 23rd Episode 7 **TIMES TO BE CONFIRMED**
Thursday 24th Episode 8 **TIMES TO BE CONFIRMED**
Thursday 24th Episode 9 **TIMES TO BE CONFIRMED**
Please note that you will need to make your own way to & from the shoot. The times are all stated above although we may run slightly later on some occasions, so please ensure that you can stay on if we're delayed! We will be providing light refreshments ONLY throughout the day. Also, please remember to wear appropriately WARM CLOTHING, as you will be spending some time out in the open.
Unfortunately due to HEALTH & SAFETY and insurance reasons, you have to be over the age of 14 to be on the set.
If the opportunity arises, YOU MAY BE ABLE TO DRIVE SOME OF THE CARS that we will be testing - To do this you MUST be aged over 25, and you must have a FULL, CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE * please bring it with you!. (We will need to see BOTH parts if you have the new photocard licence). We will require you to sign a standard declaration form about your driving and insurance status.
Meanwhile, for our research, please could you email us back with the following information:
- which town & county do you live in?
- which day/episode(s) you are interested in (see above)?
- Do you work with cars, or in the media?
We will inform you by email of the arrival time & specific directions.

Went to the last one. If you've got nothing better to do, then its worth going. However if your toe nails need trimming or anything like that..... don't bother.

Just hope they are not testing the realism of crash test dummies and want help from the audience to compare the differences
Either that or baby chair testing
Enjoy mate and take your camera ! Talking of which did you get that picture I redirected you to at Billing ??? The chassis with the nice rear end

Si,
My license is clean and has been since 1974 so apart from being an old git, sensible and drive a Scoob couldn't find any reason for not letting me
Being not related or Intimate with the Director didn't help
I was sat in the back of the Saab (last Pic) whilst it was driven by one of us Testers 15 metres forward then back 3 times for a take, so could call that a test drive

DRIVEN:
Keep an open mind. Two summers ago, invited to Snetterton where they were doing a 3 car comparison involving the then new MG ZS180. They wanted an 80s MG Montego for some of the footage so I took along one of mine.
Found all the team charming, approachable and Jason Plato has a fine sense of humour in addition to his well known steering wheel twiddling talents. I particularly remember towards the end of a longish day, whilst Penny M was leaning over my car doing another take, I pressed the shutter button on my Minolta which was immediately followed by the sound of my camera noisily rewinding (fast mode rewind ... ..) thus ruining another take. Took it all in their stride with a smile ....
