Has anyone seen a picture of the new European Sti yet?
I have an pic of one which Ill post up later if it hasnt been seen already.
I also saw the spec, the most important bit to most people is that it is 265bhp, which I think most people knew already.

There is an embargo on the pics until Tuesday 11th Sept which coincides with the Press Day at Frankfurt. Please honour it.

There is an embargoe date of 11th September on the pictures and press release, so you could be getting someone (possibly Scoobynet!)into trouble if you release them before then.

Sorry guys, I did not know there is an embargo, and I obviously won't put it up here as I wouldnt want to cause any difficulties
My dealer was good enough to give me the pic today and didnt tell me that, although to be fair, he's not expecting me to post it on the net I guess.
If anyone is especially interested, mail me and Ill send you a copy, as long as you promise to do the same etc etc....

i would like to see the pics. why would a press embargo restrict pics being shown on scoobynet? you can see god knowswhat vile images on the net, bulger murderers etc, yet we cant look at a car some of us may be considering in the future? i'm not having a go here, so no flaming please
do subaru or IM have an 'interest' in scoobynet? i dont like the idea of big brother watching. the rsoc have ford read theres, and in a recent thread, someone from ford actually went on there to start dialogue in a friendly and helpful way
i know mike answers questions on here on behalf of prodrive, why cant someone from subaru speak to scoobynet and take onboard their opinions?

Due to the volume of emails I have had, the offer of the pic has now been withdrawn I'm afraid, as it will take me all day to send them, and is likely to get out of hand.

Would those people I have copied it too, please respect the comments above relating to the embargo, as I do not wish to bring any harm onto this community.

However, without wishing to start an arguement, I do agree with some of spudguns comments about censorship. We are a bunch of enthusiasts who are all waiting for information, and what harm would come from being able to see a picture of a piece of metal one week earlier than they want you to??

Saw the pics today - two versions, one looks like a UK300 the other has the full prodrive body kit including the awesome front spoiler.

Both look the dogs!!!

With the greatest of respect to all that have posted I would have to agree that if an embargo applies then it should be honoured...

The press release isn't due to go live (i.e. for public viewing/release) until that date.

IMHO there is no reason why we (Scoobynet, SIDC or otherwise) should have it prior to the offical press release date...

(already wearing flamesuit, gloves, hat and shoes...running for the door!! )

These links were posted on the IWOC list this morning. I wouldn't know if they are anything close to what the UK is getting (I guess we won't get the decals), but it does show what can be done with different wheels, spoilers and bumpers etc.
