Agree with John here,
first of all Stef could have been doing one of many things, ie warm up lap, warm down lap, so the fact you mate left him in a cossie doesnt really impress anyone here  hope theres one for that
I also suppose your mate has a 400+bhp cossie too?? now the fact that Stefs car pushes under 300bhp... what can you say, youth of today

Bob,
He did say Escort Cosworth, not Sierra cossie. Have you actually ever driven an escort cossie? I suspect not.
One could also point out that Stef's car seems to have not infrequent problems with corners on racetracks if one were inclined to be argumentative... and you can get video evidence of said assertion from Duke video or CK productions. (?)

This is so funny.
The scoobs and EVO's got dusted on track....
Bout time people started to realise that a Cossie aint slow. Myself and Bondy (Magenta Saff) over took all of the above with complete ease. Usually round the bends as they where really considerate drivers.
The escort pulled away from stef with ease in the wet on slicks, i my self was on slicks and couldn't catch a cold in the wet

Dingy,
You're right as usual
I remember getting overtaken by loads of Cossies - in fact all that were in my session.....
..but that was because I got bored and slowed down to let everyone catch up and overtake - which you well know

LOL @ Moray - still digging huh? (can't pass up the opportunity? )
I have to say though, if you give yourself the title "Cossiekiller", then you are going to invite statements made such as Stage 1 (sorry Stef but it's true )

Well if Steff and CK1 are Cossie Killer what does this make Craig Hardman and his beast ??? F14, F50 and R1 Killer (LOL).(By the way for all those who don't know Craig and his beast just did a 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and a 0-100 in 10 I think it was.)
Daz.
P.S: Keep up the good work Steff.

I was just about to say the same thing. There is nothing wrong with the cossie boys giving Stef crap. If he is gonna call himself cossiekiller, then he
needs to make sure his scalps are fresh.

Stef
Oh it's all gone quite over there!!
You are conspicuous by your absence to this thread. I gotta say I kinda side with Cem on this one M8.
Craig
Your supposed to measure 0-60 and 100mph in MPH not KPH

Stef`s bound to have a really good reason.
Bit like at Donington when Harj and him never wanted to go out when I was in command of the "bayside blue" beast from Tokyo
Mind you I AM a much better driver than everyone else

mr leigh, thought it was a perfectly reasonable topic title. Also please give us a better topic title, either way **** aff and dont read it if u are that bothered.
Stef's a good lad and likes to drive his motor hard and is always slagging the cossie lads on the rsowners site who have learned to live with it
for the first time in ages stef has come across someone else who can drive and was totally doored...
pls note that this escort cossie doored mike rainbird aswell, tho we were on road tyres at the time.
Either way, stef got doored and he accepeted it all in good faith as it was a fact, lap after lap.
the rest is everyone else pityful excuses

WHAT....a 300BHP Escort Cossie wasted Rainbow Warriors 500BHP SAFF
With all his superior power to weight ratio....AND his sorted suspension.
Seems that power without control (Drivers or Cars???) is not the quickest way around a circuit.
ROFLMAO

Dingy, you cant say a thing about who or what you passed at dono because you decided to run in the intermediate class and hide from the big boys in experienced.
Hardly fair on those who needed places in intermediate and were forced to run with the fast boys (and girls?) due to intermediate (and novice for that matter) being full of experienced runners who were $hit scared of being stuffed.
Why did you do that? Did you want to make yourself look faster than your really are? LOL
John, whose diff blew (before i did a run) but still managed 2nd fastest (beat by 0.02S by an RS200) 0-60 of the hundreds of cossies that tried.

To be fair to Dingy, he did manage to hold me off for a few laps in the wet, before I nipped past him on the Esses (wasn't fair really cos I was in the Lupo - 1.4, 75hp, 175/70 tyres - no contest)

Steve,
With 500bhp, the road tyres lasted 2 laps before they turned to jelly. It was horrible, the whole car moved around like the suspension was shagged. After fitting the slicks, the ONLY car that overtook me was the Bailey Escort (800Kg and 500bhp). Don't worry, we reciprocated to the DOME Escort Cosworth driven by one of the Lloyd brothers .
Until it started raining. I then couldn't be ar5ed to change the wheels again and drove round on the slicks on tippy toes and just pulled out of the way of any of the 4wd cars that came past me like I was standing still.
At least I had the courtessy and track etiquette to pull over and let people through...
LOL
