The PI and the 22B Type UK (of which there are only 16) where the only 2 door models officially imported into this country. Other than this all the other 2 door models like the STI Type R are japanese grey imports only so it all depends if you want an official UK car (which costs more money but can be serviced at main dealers and usually comes with a warranty) or if you want to save a bit of money and go for a jap import.

There are also some specification differences between UK and japanese cars as well as differences betweeen different years\versions. Your best bet will be to decide how much you want to spend then decide if you want a UK car or don't mind getting a jap import. I have a japanese Type R. Some people are put off by jap imports but I find that that most of the rumours about jap imports being hard to service or get parts for are untrue as there is now a large specialised market for this.

Iam in a buying car mood recently, this is normally bad as it often results in me in a new car not long after the feeling starts, Ive not had a Jap car before and Iam interested in a P1, my qyestion is this, what models are the 2 door varients?, I see them from £16k all the way through to £30k+

Apologies but Iam new to Impreza's...kind of.

I know about the P1 and 22B, what are the others and what money do they go for. As much as I love the M3 its time to change it.

Any info would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Tom.
