Well, i have not had this experience yet. Maybe i dont go to the right places at the right times Where do you have to go to find this kind of attention?
Is it from cruising the nightspots or from loitering near the local secondary school?
However what does happen is that every male between 14 and 28 seems to look and point and stick thumbs up! No females though.

After I got my first Scoob (about a year ago) my friends reckoned I'd be a big hit with the females
While I believe this is true to an extent, I'm wondering what views other male Scoob drivers have?

If you pull a girl because of your car then she must be a slag, sorry but any woman who is attracted to you because you have a Scooby must either be 17 (not a bad thing) or stupid, not the basis for a long term relationship but definately good for a **** if it works!
Iam sure there are the odd couple that are both Scooby enthusiasts who have met because of the car but if you have to rely on your motor then something is amiss!
Has anyone actually pulled BECAUSE of their car?? - come on boys, lets hear the stories!

Hi Gavin, I'm not a male so maybe I'm not qualified to open my gob here. It's not the car but the way a guy drives that makes him sexy. If you can throw an Austin Allegro round some decent bends like you designed them, it's far sexier than if you had the Scoobiest Doo on wheels but drive like a woman. Now the combination of a great driver AND a grunty Scoob, now we're talking...

Hmm.... thread sounding more like Max Power:
"Would you sleep with ugly bloke with nice car?"
The answers:
1. Hell yeah! (Maximum protection needed coz usually more than err... 50 previous partners?)
2. Don't know (Possible romance- just possibly)
3. No (Do I need to say more?)
Aaah... brightens up afternoon at work.

i drive nice!
I agree in certain terms, get a girl with a girl is quite easy but you have to have the certain style
jokin'
We used to drive around and see how long it takes, back in the old days
usually takes about a minute with a near enough standardish 106!
Think if you had a ferrari you would stand out but hey girls are attracted to one thing or another just jike us blokes do!
Please tell me if that makes sense as i am thinking i am talking out of my ar@e

I agree with you that the Scob seems to attract the younger female i.e. 17 and upwards.
Although thats OK with me as i'm 23 and single at moment
But seriously, I think you do have to think about it if she's only interested in the car.

I pick a friend of mine up from work on an evening and i have acquired quite a fanclub of 16 year old slappers near his place of work, it was funny at first, but when they are just about jumping out in front of me to get me to stop i get a little paranoid, for a start i'm like 12 years older (and it shows) and my mate just sits there laughs and generally rips the p!ss all the way home. He reckons its my tail....pipe they are after!

Heres a strange thing, my M3 was recently off the road having various things done which took 5 weeks, in this time I bought an F reg 320iSE 2dr which is nothing special, I would say I got more smiles in the 320 than I do in the M3 - ok, the M3 hasnt got the best rep in the world, its a BMW but strange all the same.
And in this time I borrowed a friends CLK320 and I got so many smiles in that it was hilarious!, so it does work - kind of!!
Iam a good looking ******* anyway but it just goes to show!!

Hi Gav, sorry it took so long to answer but I've been working (unusual of late). No, very unsingle indeed. Not married, but my man's the sexiest creature on earth. And yes, he has a '93 WRX. Make of that what you will, folks...

From a female point of view, I get loads of male attention when i'm cruising around(although this has nothing to do with the car!!) When my other half is driving, he gets loads of girlies looking at him. I'm not worried though. He goes for the more classy type woman, not the local slappers (bitch, bitch!)

On a serious note though, my boss calls MY02 WRX my Pen1s extension. Until i was giving him a lift home one night and we were behind a bus full of college kids coming home.
On the top deck of the bus at the back was a gang of girlies waving at us and giving the thumbs up and blowing kisses at us.
I said to my boss "They're you are, look at all those apprentice sausage jockies waving" he said "yeah i know, the one in the middle with the blonde hair is my 18 year old daughter"
Oh **** was my immediate reaction.

It's funny really. I used to own a E36 BMW 325i before this and definately used to get more attention from the ladies in that than I ever do in my Subaru which is strange really as I would have thought that a black Type R with gold alloys and a feckin loud exhaust is much more eye-catching than a 3 series Beemer.
Just goes to show that badge snobbery is everywhere . Probably becuase most ladies have heard of BMW's whereas the usual question I get asked about my Scoobie is "What car is that....a Subaru what"?
In fact worryingly enough I seem to get more attention from blokes in my Scoobie than ladies (in a non-homesexual way I mean ) as more blokes seem to appreciate what the Subaru is about i.e. driver enjoyment not pose factor.

I was travelling behind a bus full of college girls not so long ago. Once they got a whiff that i was behing them in my scooby they all rushed to the back of the bus. It was quite funny. They then proceeded to write signs asking for my name, age and whether i had a girlfriend or wife or engaged. I dont think my girlfriend would be to impressed. They then tried to get my phone number off me. :-) Of coarse i didnt give them it. I finally mangaed to over take the bus and then they all rushed to the side windows. I cracked my sides with laughter. The attention the scooby attracts is unreal. Sometimes though it can be a right old pain. I remember once when this very attractive girl/slag knocked on my window asking if she could get in, and that she would do anything. I was so intimidated i said 'sorry love' . I was stuck in traffic at the time and everyone round me started to laugh, she was very persistant indeed, she even tried the door handle.
I think i will get the windows tinted on my next scooby. Im getting abit paronoid now every time i pull up to traffic lights or stop with people alongside. Have you all noticed that the majority of time they look and stare at you? Its like they have never seen a subaru before. :-)
