Some fool in a black MR2 with a "fast and the furious" type spoiler thingy on the back tried to race me yesterday from a set of traffic lights.

Now I usually drive within all of the speed limits and will not rise to any bait. However this fool had his girlyfriend in the motor, the windows down, stereo up and was reving the cr@p out of it as soon as I pulled up next to him.

Thought about letting him go for a second but then decided that this was too good to miss.

Lets just ssay that he was made to look a bigger fool than he already appeared whren all he got was a distant view of the rear of me scooby.

Here endeth his lesson.

You sound like you have a worrying inferiority complex.
My advice is sell the car and spend the money on counselling.
There's no substitute for being at peace with your self.
(if that fails you might want to think about surgery on your genitals)

SiPie.

**** off!

I ain't bragging. Just pointing out that some tw@ts watch a film and then think that they are the fastest thing on the road.

I don't race about all the time. This prat needed showing and this is what I did.

Calm down girls!
Now then, when we all walked in to the showroom in search of an impreza we didnt go for its state of the art build quality or lack of engine noise etc etc we whent for the pure adrenalin factor that the car gives whether its at the traffic lights, on the motorway and on the track. So there is no use in hiding the fact that everyone of us has planted their right foot all the way at some stage while driving and im even more sure it brought a smile to your face especially when the other car beaten was a £50k luxury sports car.

Cheers

Gerry
Ps: This is not to say that we all go out looking for a race or carry out road rage. Unfortunaley though some rich daady boys do go in serch of races etc, these are the guys who give us a bad name.

Mmmmmmmmmmm.

I feel that you have missed the point here somewhere and i am not gonna explain it.

Lets just agree to disagree. I was not bragging but if it looked like that then it was not supposed to.

He was a tool and I got carried away. It's that simple. I do not intend to get into a debate about it. As for the interesting post quote. I have just looked at a sample of yours.

The only words that spring to mind is that "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

LMFAO at that one

I see sipies point that the way the post was written was perhaps a little inflamatory but the jasonwrx was just making the point he blew of an MR2 and it felt pretty good. I think we all have to admit that when we have a wee tussle with someone: win, lose or draw it can be a good laugh and we want to share it with our fellow netters.

At least you can get someone to play with you. Nobody every races my scooby......I mean nobody

Saxo Boy

I'm the same, nobody tries it on with me (oohh errr). I put this down to my driving style - 'driving miss Daisy'.

My theory is that it's the way that you drive that attracts others of similar style. So if you look agressive (driving style) then others will recognise it and if they are the same then they will tend to have a go too.

This is why i'm bored of scoobynet:-

I ain't bragging. Just pointing out that some tw@ts watch a film and then think that they are the fastest thing on the road.
You all drive scoobs for f**ks sake. THEY aren't the quickest thing on the road, nor are they the best handling, nor the rarest, nor the most desireable.

When did you last start the thread "Got whooped today by an M3" ??? never, exactly.

I just get fed up of these "oh I beat so and so threads". I could beat a lot of you lot in my car. A lot of other people could beat me. Who gives a toss? lets talk about something interesting for a change.

Slippy.....If you are bored then **** off somewhere else.

For your information there have been threads like "Raced a M3 this morning - Got toasted" etc,

You have totally missed the point.

Shame really.
