Unhappy

Has anybody had any experience with Iain purchasing a car?

I rang him a week ago wanting to leave a deposit for a 2003 STi. I have since rung him again and sent numerous e-mails but still no reply!!

Maybe I should take my money elsewhere!?

Am I just being unlucky as I have heard good comments about his service on this board, but I dont seem to be getting it

Iain Is a Fanatastic Guy and worth keeping trying to contact him, He is often away abroad and is very busy sourcing cars, I bought an STi7 from him and can only praise his company and his customer care skills, Much bettewr than the Subaru network. keep trying him or e mail hime, he will get back to you

nice guys at Litchfield Imports

I got MY02 wagon from them

Must admit, they were often too busy... (need a receptionist!)

And Yes I would without hesitation use them again

Go for it... if you can

Yep top bloke, he is overworked (hehe) but its self induced, based on his success. Keep at him it will be worth it in the end. I did and now own a lovely STI. He even took me out and filled it up with optimax before my trip back to Bonnie Scotland. If he was only a Scotsman he would be nearly perfect!!!

cannot stress enough what a decent bloke iain is.

He reserved my car on the promise of my word that I would buy it, over the phone from another country not havign seen it.

Before I had the chance to see the car, shake his hand and give him a holding deposit, he was offered over £3k more for it, but since I had said I would take it, he kept it for me even though that meant him making less profit.

I have said this so many times on the bbs before, I should save it as a standard response.

Quite simply the most honest bloke I have ever met, and now a friend rather than a car salesman.

Cannot praise the guy high enough. Keep trying!

Thanks for you responces.

I have only heard good things about Iain on this board so presumed I was just being unlucky. I have sent a few more mails so will hopefully get a responce soon!

I am probably just being impatient as I have no car at the moment and want to be at the top of the list for a 2003 STi
