Just been gettin some quotes today.

Greenlight and AXA seem best at just under a grand for a 25yr old male no convictions, no offences, WA5 postcode..98ukspec car no mods.

Seems good to me anyone know any better??

Was going to phone around yesterday as I turn 21 on Tuesday and am getting a standard MY98 turbo, first call was privilege, 21 yrs - 4 years driving, 4 yrs ncb, protected with limited business mileage, quoted £1100 with breakdown cover (tracker required), didnt bother phoning any other companies as this seemed to good to be true!

Hi

the insurance centre are a general insurance broker thus specialise in standard risks.

Some of the modifications that you guys have make you fall out side of this criteria, there are specialist insurance companies who prefer this type of risk and I would recommend you contact them.

over 40% of the people who get a quote and ring the call centre will considerable reduce their premium.

the service is designed this way as online quotes lack human intervention thus cannot offer ways to reduce premiums.

if you want to get the lowest cost you need to speak to the call centre.

But saying that car insurance is all about horses for courses. high rates usually indicate that:
the broker/insurer ins't interested in you as a risk
you have filled in you details incorrectly (trust me the slightest error/mis-judgement can mean a huge difference in price)
you need to work the system thus that why all our polices go through a call centre.

I work for the insurance centre that's why I know the above.

this isn't a flame i'm just trying to explain some general pointers about car insurance.

if you want any help on finding specialist insurers feel free to ask.

Insurance is all about risk, different companies like different types of risk, just dont take it personally
