Advice, please... the Scooby's side-lights won't switch off. Makes no difference if ignition is on or off, and light control stalk doesn't switch them off. I had just finished washing the car when I noticed this - surely that can't be coincidence? Assuming it's water that's done this - any tips on fixing it?

This should probably be in "Lighting/electrical", but General gets more views. Apologies, but I really don't want a flat battery from this!

Try the switch on the top of the steering column

its like the bright switch!! something that no one ever uses. your parking lights are on.....like phil says SWITCH EM ORFF

Damn, that was quick thinking Phil. Bingo. That solved it. I knew I should get around to reading what that switch was for! Can't think when I'd actually want to use the parking light control, but hey...

we all got the handbook but never read it!........I wondered wht the interior light had no on off switch...only to be told that thats the map light the interior light is over there[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] dealer must 'ave seen me commin lol
