Just out and about pottering around looking for a BMW/Audi/Saab/Cossie powered Dagenham dustbin to annihilate and came across this big black beast of a car with two feckin' great air intakes either side of the driver, at first i though it might be an EVO 9 but the driver was wearing a crash helmet not a BTF baseball cap and the flames exiting the rear where not long enough to be an EVO
Pulled up next to him, the driver looked over and gunned his jet engine, i flipped him the bird and revved up to the max and we where off.
The rocket powered sound barrier breaking Thrust II had me on the straight, we came to the twistes and i left him for dead. As we all know the Scoob is not really about striaght line performance (unless you are fastest)
Chalk one up to the impreza!
Very impressd with his parachute device to slow the car down, where can i get one to fit a Scoob and will it affect my warranty..
editied to say yes i know i spelt Noble (Nobel) wrong in the title

No it must have happened...
Dick Noble just got back to his desk here at 'Big Long Black Thrust Cars Ltd' and told me about this bloke in a Scooby that kept bothering him on the ring road at lunchtime.
Said he let him through on the twisties as he had a bit of a jippy tummy and didn't want to 'throw the old girl around too much'.
He's just put another sticker of a Subaru with a cross over it on the side of his PC.

Actually, that must have been Thrust SSC, not Thrust 2, Thrust 2 had a single intake and did not break the sound barrier.
While clearly Thrust 2 would have been easy pickings, Thrust SSC would have pulled ahead of you above 300mph. He can't have been trying, maybe he was taking the shopping home?

Thank you for correcting my glaring mistakes, i went past him so fast i could not clearly make out the make/model.
Notorious REV
He was trying!, i am just a better driver that an ex-fighter pilot turned world land speed record holder, besides he was runnig on skinny tyres so i knew he was my puppy come the corners.
Who's the MAN!

Ok so the story is basically true except for two small factors
1) I currently do not own a Scoob
2) I did not Race Thrust SSC in my non-existent Scoob
Apart from this i told it just like it happened.
If however i did have a Scoob even in a 'slow as you like' fugly and i did come accros Thrust SSC i know i would be quickest!

wish i could find the post i made a couple of years ago about building a 10 litre V8 westfield. That had a lot of people going for a while. I seem to remember we ended up with supercharged sofa's racing? pretty funny stuff.
