Tony.

Just wondering if you think that your car is as quick as an evo6?

TIA Mr_6 (Stockport)

What if he does, I think my RA (225bhp/ton)is quicker than a stock standard Evo 6 (204bhp/ton). Plain and simple it has a better power to weight ratio and a group N set of sports ratios . If I remember correctly Tony has a classic UK with a PPP (195bhp/ton)which again is not far off a stock standard E6 .

LOL, Chris, I want to know if YOUR Typewriter RA would woop a slightly modded Evo5 or 6???

Of course I dont know or care about power to wait a min ratios per ton on a mild day with a slightly nippy wind blowing from the north.

Hello Mr 6
Id say there would be nothing in it, my car is an MY00 PPP'd car, with a decat downpipe, the power to weight is about 210bhp per tonne which is around the same as an Evo6 along with good midrange grunt (which also helps )
If you want we can pop down to PC world and have an enthusiasts chat about eachothers cars?

Type RA
John F's car would whoop me *** with 276BHP but thats because his gear ratio's are very close (John has an STi 5 V-Ltd ) but a standard Evo 6 would be a close call, and i have never stated that my car was as quick as an Evo6 (but have given a 7 a run for its money )

My ratios are as short as JF's except I have a short 5th ratio which limits my top speed but my 5th ratio is pretty close to a MY00 Uk 4th gear . Makes for interesting progress to say the least .
