A chap goes by the name of Alex - has a yard around Halifax...
Does work with wrx/sti's as well as cosworth's.
Very well known locally. I'll dig up his number if you want.
Also Bargain Motors in Bradford - can do an engine replacement for £300 (without an engine being supplied of course..!!)

MartB, What kind of engine problems do you have. For general servicing work there is a garage in Ikley called Macs Garage which is owned by an ex-SIDC organiser. I've had work some there on my STI 5 including geometry set up, and never had any problems.

I think the problem with the engine is terminally. It is going to need a strip down to find out what is wrong
Do you know if Macs Garage would be prepared to take that on?
