Erm, so your 'results' are for 180 miles and 40-odd litres? Not even a full tank?
So totally inconclusive then. The original higher fuel consumption could've been a duff batch of fuel, a warmer day, heavier right foot, bumpier roads, heavier passenger or just about anything else.
I'll be interested to see your average results after at least 20 full tanks with (and 20 tanks without) the broquet. Until then your results are, unfortunately, statistically worthless....

Markus,
Firslty, thanks for letting us know how you've been getting on and please don't take the crtisism (how *do* you spell that?) as non-constructive - it's meant to be purely constructive....
I have to agree with Mark, I don't think you can draw any conclusions from one tank of fuel - I think you need an average of MPG over many tanks (to take into account of variations in quality of fuel, weather, style of driving etc.), both before and after the Broquet....
Do you have any more MPG readings pre Broquet? If so, when you've had many more tanks of post fitting, a more conclusive (IMHO) statement could be made.....
Anyone else got any Broquet figures for us, it's been a while now and I was wondering the other day how people are getting on....????
Matt

Guffawing at some of the previous correspondants in this very forum Mr C, you need to post more, often!
Sorry couldn't resist, don't mean to be offensive or personal.

Right,
was not for one tank of fuel, but a few, think about 10 - 15. The results are an average of that. I will, when time permits, list all the recipts I have (if they are still where I left them and have not been 'tidied' away, which is possible)
As said, it's not the most comprehensive test ever performed, am hoping to get (and eventually list) results from 50 fillups, so as to give a better example.
Pete,
I wonder what on earth you'd possibly say
