How Much For a New Boot Lid???
#1
I'm only saying chances are it will be cheaper than £175 because:
When i had MY00 i got a front passenger door, fully sprayed... (they said that they would have to blend into the back door, and front wing)
The Back passenger door had a dent in it with the paint being cracked, i asked them how much to sort that out also? because they were going to blend it into that door anyway, they said...
Spraying Door, blending it in from the frong wing to the back door, for £170....
But that meant i had to take the door off my self, and fit it my self... including stripping the door handle/lock and wing mirror etc... with fitting it would have been £200+

Just come out of the Cinema to find some ****** had put a massive dent in the back of my X reg turbo (just above the silver subaru lettering). Anyone know how much one of these costs as I dont think the panel can be pulled out? Cant imagine it being any cheaper than my £175 ins excess but if its not more then saves on a claim.

I'd try giving someone like Dentmaster or the Dent Corporation a call. They removed a fairly large dent from the back of my fiance's car that I thought would have needed a new boot.

Hmmm is worth a try I suppose but it's also peeled the paintwork off down to the metal. Anyone know if that means it would need the entire boot lid spraying or can they just blend it in?

Has the boot been creased? If so dentmaster etc may not be able to remove it completely. You may be better going to a body shop to get them to look at it.
They'll probably be able to sort the dent out so you'll never know it was there.

Take it to a body shop, you'll be surprised at the kind of dents they can straighten out!
But make sure u ask them, about the spraying, they wont have to spray the whole boot lid, will only need blending in!
make sure u ask for a quote for both pulling the dent out, and spraying (plus fitting)... chances are it will be cheaper than £175
