Does anyone know of any Smart Car importers or places in Europe where you can get a good deal. The Smart car retailers in the UK suck and don't want to give you a good deal for cash etc.. I was told by one of the that we don't need to as they sell so good.

The possibility of importing a Smart interests me also.

Most smarts in the UK (if not all??) are still LHD.

Were you thinking of importing LHD. This would be much easier than sourcing a RHD car in EU. For such a cheap car there seems a big difference in price. Almost 2K when I first looked into it about 2 years ago.

A friend bought one last year - loves it to bits and the MPG makes me cry...

But, he said that if he gets another (he fancies a convertible) he is going to get one nearly new or new from Italy. They are such a fashion item over there that good second hand ones can be had for a couple of grand.

Perhaps try Italy?
