Stii looking for that ideal scoob to replace my cossie.

I love tuning this car and i know it is not easy to gett big power like a cossie but when i buy i will have a grand left over.

When i have driven scoobs b4 they are quick to 80mph but really struggle to go quick after that.

I live 10 mins away from Powerstation and want more power to play with.

Cossie had 317bhp and 354 lb ft and i still want that smack in the back.

Any info welcome

It depends on the age, but I would try and hunt out a second had full exhaust system from the private section, perhaps an induction kit.

As you car close to power station spend the rest of your money on a unichip, which they can provide you with more details of but I believe it is one of the safer upgrades.

Given a MY98 would be out of warranty anyway (or near enough) - why not get an STi to start with? Similar price, but 280bhp as standard rather than 208/215 STi will be more than enough to give you the thrills back

Prices could be on th way down just check it is a kosher one

Around 230-240 bhp is probably a realistic output for a UK car with full exhaust/induction mods at around the one thousand pound mark. If u want more, than I'm afraid it starts to get expensive (reliably). Personally I would go for an STI which has blueprinted engine and 280bhp as standard. With exhaust this would probably be around the power you want and should be reliable. (although probably robbed )
