Impreza Virgin !
#1
Bought my first Impreza Turbo last week. Under 15k for main dealer standard UK car, 99T, 29k miles (dealer did 30k service), newish tyres & brakes - few stone chips (seems to be a common problem). Can I expect the car to continue to be so eager (feels > 215bhp) as the miles go on (15k /yr) or will it get tired ? Intend keeping it for 2 years then buying new 280bhp version (missus allowing). Anything I should look out for ? Any advice appreciated (as a new kid on the block).

Welcome to the bbs and the club!(?). I have a UK95 Turbo with 99,500 on the clock and this still feels very eager indeed
You shouldn't notice any loss as the miles pile on, probably just loosening up nicely now Get yourself a backbox to release the sound and make sure it always gets good oil at service - main dealers should recommend this anyway. Enjoy.

Bakerman,
Suggest rather than buying a 280bhp car go back to the dealer and buy the Prodrive performance pack, it doesnt invalidate your warranty and you should get 250bhp and 250lbs of torque out of it.
Many people dont think its worth it but having fitted it to my car i can say i havnt looked back and its sooooo much better to drive
