Sul or optimax will make the car run smoother, and may give it a tiny bit more punch. You should gain a better mpg figure. I gained 3 mpg by changing from nul. The MY99 unit should adjust to the new fuel after 2 or 3 tankfulls. Hope this helps

P.s - Your dealer is a tit

Thumbs up

Always use SUL or Optimax mate.
And avoid supermarket forecourts, petrol may be cheaper, but the old saying "you get what you pay for" is best advice here.

Got my Scoob (MY99) bout 3 months ago - ran on NUL til a few wekks back - no probs. Now switched to SUL to trial - no noticeable performance or running difference : just really doin it to compare mpg. I hear yer supposed to get around 10% more mpg with SUl which allegedly offsets the cost....

I believe the MY99 ecu doesnt need to be reset on fuel change - just detects and adjusts automatically....
