For 300 squids I would hope it would be better than some of the sub £100 models.......are there anty benefits...range......etc etc etc...hence the 'daft' question.

...as for the helicopter....I wouldn't worry....the thought police would probably get to you first........

I was going to buy a BEL 330 BUT they don't detect the mini-GATSOs on the Ku band. Worth the extra to upgrade to the 550.

One of my mates was done by a mini-Gatso last year on our way out to the local track. And saw another one, not 100yards from the end of my road 3 weeks ago - they look like a briefcase mounted on a mini tripod. Not easy to spot.
