Can anybody recommend a web site or any other form of advertisment other than Autotrader and obviously the forums on here to advertise my beloved scoob???? e-mail simon.bridgwater@btinternet.com

because you are more likely to get your car stolen that way. It's very easy to find your address if you put your name/home town there and findit is a well known website, if you get my drift!

surely if your vague it's OK?

If you leave a phone number they can get the rough area from the area code.

Simon regarding Findit you can amend your adverts and profile not to show home town etc after the ad's been submitted.

i feel the best site for finding a new car is the autotrader site, its easy to use, easy to view and if everyone uses it, none of us will have to bother looking anywhere else ie exchange and mart fish4cars etc. i find these sites difficult to look at, none too clear

Isn’t there a great danger in having a closed market. If the others go out of business then Autotrader push up the prices.......
Fish4 works for me, how complicated can it be
Make, Model, Price, Location...... that's it
